That Sunday evening the disciples had gathered together but they were so afraid of the Jewish leaders that they locked all the doors in the house. Then suddenly Jesus was standing there with them. He greeted them saying, “Peace to you.”

Jesus is among us speaking peace into our traumatized lives.
PRAYER
Risen Savior, the good news continues to grow -- overshadowing all the nasty stuff happening out there. Forgive me for allowing the news to disturb my peace. Let me recognize your presence and hear your words of peace. I'm going to become a fearless agent of your peace. Amen.
THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your Name; your Kingdom come; your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.
