Lord, you alone deserve to be served. But we're like the people in the book of Joshua who talked more about serving you than actually serving. There is almost something romantic about the idea of serving you, Lord. But it's difficult and when it comes to acting and living like a servant, I blow it more times than not. Forgive me and create within me a genuine servant's heart -- along with a willingness to actually serve. Amen.
